One person died in French NPP blast
At least four people have been injured.
An explosion followed by a fire has occurred at the Marcoule nuclear waste-management site in the south of France, informs RIA “Novosti”. According to the preliminary information, there is a radiation leak risk.
Marcoule is a French nuclear industry site located in the Gard region of southern France, in the valley of the Rhone. The NPP is subjected to the Atomic Energy Commission and the company Areva.
