Official trade unions: Labor Day celebrated by 200,000 in Minsk
Over 200,000 people took part in the Labor Day celebrations on May 1 in Minsk, the pro-governmental Trade Union Federation of Belarus reports. According to official estimates, over 30,000 people attended a demonstration yesterday near the National Library of Belarus, reports the Ria Novosti news agency.
