In 2025, Belarus was visited by 579,000 foreigners who came to the country through travel agencies. Among them, 570,000 were Russians. On average, guests stayed for 4 days and paid a combined total of 225.6 million Belarusian rubles for their tours, Belstat reports.
The most popular travel destinations among Belarusians last year were Russia and Turkey — each country was visited by approximately 163,000 people. Also among the leaders were Egypt (112,000), the UAE (78,000) and Georgia (46,000) — these are countries that Belarusian citizens can visit without a visa. In total, 736,000 Belarusians traveled abroad on package tours.
Belarusians also traveled within their own country — 2 million people mostly chose day trips and paid 147.8 million rubles for their tours.
